I did not develop option 2 as I felt the extra bits in the front were taking too much attention from the focal.
Basic block-in of the other ship. I am wondering if it might be better to not connect the wings in the front, However, here are a few rather rough sketches on how it could be connected.
For the spider ship, im not super sure about the maneuvering thrusters - they're making the ship feel super small and feel a bit off style for the ship - possibly removing them and just having more recessed maneuvering thrusters might be good.
ReplyDeletemmm 3's more organic/ornate filler feels the most interesting - the others in particular 1 and 4 feel a bit awkward the way they're flowing into the wings. Maybe 2 with a bit of 3s ornateness?
